Although it has many powers such as interpreting the Furman Constitution and conducting all student body elections, its main function is to bring about a higher respect for the honor system and a better appreciation of the self government. Day Students' Association, and religious groups. The council meets every Monday night and acts as the coordinator for all campus activities and enforces the regulations of the school.
