JUST ANOTHER CLASS MEETING. We mode it. Some ore happy, some disillusioned, and others just indifferent after completing the last lap of the race. At times the sheepskin seemed distant and heavy laden with wool, but through perseverance and hard work, we managed to shear away enough to carry away a degree. We've a lot of firsts’' attached to our class— we’re the largest senior class in the history of Furman, we're the first to graduate in Textile Hall, the first to win the stunt cup two years in succession, to have the same sponsor. Miss Chiles, for three years. Our homecoming float, complete with live alligators won second prize and was a splendid example of cooperation between the two campuses. The Hiawaters stunt brought much acclaim—and the cup for the second year. The addition of an operetta, H.M.S. Pinafore , made the May Day exercises an extravaganza we’ll never forget. And, too, we were royally entertained by the juniors. But there were problems: what about the class gift?—should we have a graduation speaker?—and after graduation, what? Some we solved, others never to be solved. We’ll each go our way, memory-laden. yMen j 0 f fleets: ROBERT SCOTT, President MORRIS SEIGLER, Vice-President BILL SIMS, Secretary BARRY MITCHELL, Treasurer cy .v ers: MARGARET WATT, President MARIE CHAMPOUX.
