Fine Arts Teachers Miss Irene Salmon teaches chemistry and physics. She directs the audio-visual pro- gram and is one of the senior class sponsors. She received her degree from Central Missouri State College. Orval Hargrave directs the drivers' training program and teaches general science. He holds the B.S. in Edu- cation from Central Missouri State College and has done graduate work at the Univer- sity of Missouri. Mrs. Lottie Ruth Tate teaches biology and English. She received her B.S. in Education from Central Col- lege, Fayette, Missouri, and has done graduate work at the University of Missouri. gram. Elsea joined the administra- tive staff of Fulton High School as prin- cipal in August 1957. Mr. Elsea attended the elementary schools of Moherly and graduated from Kirksville High School. He received the BS. in Education at Northeast State Teach- ers College in 1950 and his Master's de- gree in 1951. He is presently working to- ward the Ph.D. degree at the Lvniversity of Missouri. He has heen Superintendent of Schools at King City and taught several years prior in the schools of Northeast Missouri. Ever in his mind are those things which are of henefit and interest to the students. For this. we, the students of FHS, feel grateful and express our thanks.

Accept Our Gratitude English is one of the most important areas of instruction to be had in any school. 'SF' eng '09 i Mrs. Edith Dean holds a B.S. in Education from Southeast Missouri State College. She teaches all sophomore English. Mrs. Anne Stahr teaches junior English. Mrs. Gladys Books teaches senior English and Latin. She earned a Master's degree from the University of Missouri. Mrs. Katherine Turner holds a Masteras from the University of Missouri. She teaches freshman English. Mrs. Marian Morrison is a graduate of Texas Technological College, Lubbock, Texas. Her teaching subjects are English and civics. ,,.M l 'EX ix K , Clyde Burch teaches American Problems, American History and World History. He holds a B.S. in Education from Northeast Missouri State Teachers College and LL.D. from Kansas City Law School. Miss Shirley Dunavant has her M.A. from the University of Missouri. She teaches American History and helps with our guidance program. Miss Anne Byland has a B.S. in Education from the University of Missouri. She teaches World History and geography. 7- 3 Social Studies teachers find it nec- essary to keep Far Away Places at the tips of their fingers.
