W. Victor Hill became Superintendent of the Fulton Public Schools on August 26, 1955. He was born near Dexter, Missouri and re- ceived his elementary and high school educa- tion in that town. Mr. Hill holds a B.S. in Education from Southeast State College, Cape Girardeau and a masters from the University of Missouri, Co- lumbia. He has done additional graduate study at George Peabody College, Nashville, Ten- nessee. Mr. Hill saw military service, during World War II, in France, Luxemburg and Germany. He is well known by the students since he came to Fulton as principal of Fulton High School in 1952. Darrell W. Gourley assumed the responsibil- ities of principal at Fulton High School on September 20, 1955. Mr. Gourley is a native of Mountain Grove. He is a graduate of Northeast State Teachers College, Kirksville. He holds a masters degree from the University of Missouri and has done further work at the University of Illinois. Mr. Gourley served with the Air Force dur- ing World War II. He came to Fulton as Coach in the fall of 1953 and has developed some splendid athletic ability and has created a good sportsmanlike attitude among the student body.
