After several days of getting acquainted, our first class meeting was held and the following officers were elected: President, Colleen Glazierg Vice Pres- ident, Richard Troub: Secretary, Evelyn Cook: Treasurer, Virginia lclilllamsg Class Advisor, Mr. Lindeman. During the year several of our pupils left us but also a few students came here from other schools. Nou at the and of our Freshmen year IB have an enroll- ment of forty-four pupils. In October I8 had a roller skating party at Crystal, later in the school year our class attended a movie at Carson City. On Peb. 14 we celebrated Valen- t1ne's Day by having e party at the gym. At our class election, we chose Mr. Arvllla as our class advisor. The officers elected were Joyce Terry, President: Norma Downing, Vice President: Lodell Sher- wood, Treasurer: and Max Spears, Secretary. During the year Lodell Sherwood and Max Spears left. Eileen Anderson and Yhyllis Duflo were chosen to fill the va- cancies of Treasurer and Secretary respectively. Others who left were James Sarven, Joyce Coleman, Lawrence Peterman, Neil loodbury, and Pauline Struble. Desmond Vining was our only new student. The first activity was the initiation of the Freshman, which was a real success. Our second event was a roller skating party at Crystal Lake.
