CZCUJ 29zopfzecy It was in the summer of 1947, while I at in my comfortable seat on the plane, the Silver Swan, that I noticed two people who reminded me of two of sy classmates from Fulton. I inquired of the atewardees who the two passengers were sitting in the front eeet. She told me they were Bernice Wemanle and Ewe- lyn Baylle. Thrilled with the thought of seeing two former classmates of '43,' I went forward and took the seat next to them, which happened to be unoccupied. Evelyn related her experience as a IAVB during the war. After the war she took up nursing and has worked up until she la heed nurse at a large hospital ln Chicago.
