RSITY CLU This year the Varsity Club has added several members to its enrollment. The Varsity Club acts as a board of control for the Boys' Athletic Association since the members of the B. A. A. must have earned a letter in some major sport. This year the club consisted of thirty- five members, two of whom have made letters in three major sports: football, football, basketball and track. These boys are Kenneth Miller and Clifford Johnson. Varsity Club members this year have been selling refreshments at the football games and track meets in order to raise funds so that several members of this club could see the state finals in basketball at Champaign. MURDER I REHEARSAL A three act mystery farce by Austin Goetz. The curtain opens upon a play re- hearsal in which Jack Ellery, the director, is playing opposite his fiancee. After Jack refreshes his throat with a cold drink, the rehearsal continues. Two shots are fired. Suddenly everyone realizes that Jack is no longer actingg he is dead. Then Pete Cullen. the town sheriff who has taken a part in the play, walks in. Intense excitement prevails! Every- one is under suspicion. And as the situation becomes involved. confusion reigns supreme. Naturally there is a solution to this baffling mystery. A revelation comes that makes the audience gasp and then chuckle with merriment as the curtain descends on the final act of Murder In Rehearsal .
