An initation party was given at the Coliseum to Welcome the frosh to Fulton l Il ll I High. At the party the girls wore burlap bags, rag curls and carpet slippersg the boys wore their trousers rolled up above their knees, and fancy girls' blouses. All the freshies wore green caps and lemon necklaces, with strings of tin cans tied be- hind them. In May the freshmen sponsored an all-school party. Basketball seemed the most popular sport this year. John Blodgett was mana- ger and Tommy Yopst assistant manager of the junior varsity team. Ramona Gray was elected cheerleader.
