f l In three tournaments, Fulton High won one, took consolation honors in another, and lost out in the semi-finals in the other. After defeating the favorite Orion team in the Christmas Holiday Tourney at Genesee, the Steamers were upset by a plucky Genesee f1ve Alpha was defeated ln the consolation game At the regional tourney at Savanna, Fulton whipped Galena 57 18, Morrison 41 21, and Savanna 33 20 At the Moline sectlonal, Fulton defeated a fighting llttle team from Sherrard who refused to be beaten untll the last quarter Then the power ful Mollne Maroons dlsposed of the favorites in a fast encounter two nlghts later Next season's team will have to do without the services of the first six men who wore the Red and Black colors tH1S year namely Bernard Sny der and Wilfred Moldermaker, two and three year men respectively The latter broke the lndivldual scoring record at Fulton High for the regular sea son Harold Voss, two year veteran at center, Bill Hunt and Henry Post, hard worklng guards, and Joe Sheridan, a plenty smooth ball handler, complete the graduatlng l1st So at last the conversation broke up, and the Dutch gentlemen drank a toast to the teams that have represented Fulton Hlgh and those that will represent it They decided that when Judgment lS passed,they wouldn't be worrled about the sentence of the record of any F H S team coached by W y rwson U -cv U U 18
