Over a period of four years, this noisy band has become almost civilized -they can now sing our Almer Mater - On the banks of the old Oswego, where Indian campfires gleamedg now stands our Alma Mater, true guardian of the stream - without adding their customary war whoops. In the same spirit of the pioneers, who not too long ago traded with the Indians at the great Oswego Falls portage, we, too, must turn our face away from home and see what lies beyond the horizon. Keeping always in mind our class motto Knowledge is Power, some will turn to higher education, others to the fields of commerce and science. We will leave Fulton High School with mixed motions. The carefree years of fun and friendships are behind us now but are not to be forgotten We shall also remember and keep before us as examples our teachers and advlsors who so unselfishly gave their time to benefit us that we would be made strong in mind heart and body to conquer fear and doubt in the hearts of men and brmg peace to this troubled world Our generation will protect the Banks of the Old Oswego with the same bravery is our Indlan forefathers ALMA MATER We never stronger seem UTP -9- YC Wi 'Z'g, ae- '?
