GERTRUDE FUCHS 1 Trim, meticulous Gertrude devoted most of her four years in high school to making a good scholastic record for herself. In her fourth year, she was a zealous mem- ber of Carpe Diem and Editor-in-Chief of the Yearbook. She worked in the library after school hours in her junior and senior years. During her spare time, Red en- joyed experimenting in art. Her last three years have been devoted to studying and working part time in Wool- worth's. NICHOLAS GALIZIA Nick has held our school assemblages spellbound by his excellent renditions of music, both classical and popular, on his accordion. S. in September 1945, from Erasmus Hall High School in Brooklyn, Before return- ing to New York in January, Pat played basketball.
