Tho' our strength dwells ever with us We never stronger seem, Than when we are defending Fu1ton's royal Red and Green. In these halls of our ambition, True loyalty we learn, With courage to uphold it, Ever steadfast sure and firm, So that when in life's broad vineyard, Earth's fruits we seek to glean, We shall always live to honor Fulton's royal Red and Green. Though it be on field or platform, That our valor meets the test, We are fighting for old Fulton, And she bids us do our best. Then with victory as our portion, Our banners may be seen Waving high in glorious triumph, Fulton's royal Red and Green. Foreword Preparing for its one grand exit, graduation, the Class of '41 has enacted its living drama in a four year run. It is the purpose of this book to record the separate scenes. In keeping with the Senior theme, Dramatics, We have tried to preserve the high-lights, the action, and the varied program of a busy class. For those who are vet to come, and for the memories of the Seniors, we leave this memento of our accomplishments. I Dedication In token of our respect and admiration, we, the Seniors of 1941, dedicate our issue of the Fultonian to Miss Gertrude Johnston, Vice-Principal of Fulton High School. Her constant sincerity, her generous counsel, and her friendly smile have endeared her as a master director to every player in our four-act performance. Soon hate, distrust, and war reap their sad gains And once-proud people fall beside their kings, But some scarce few keep bright the light of hope And once again the bell of freedom rings. My, my, but that's not so unusual, is it? Miss Bonner told Charlie one day he laughed like an animal in the zoo Qyou guess which one, she didn't sayj. It's a wonder someone didn't bring a bag of peanuts. There's the bell-one more struggle-Golly, I'd like to sleep but I guess I canlt-the jackson-Calhoun tight keeps interrupting my slumbers. Heavenly days, this last bell is long. liveryone but the teachers have spring fever. Hot dog!! There's the buzzer. My goodness, no notices. Tsk, tsk, what's this institution of learning coming to? Lookit-l'm going to drop in on Senior play rehearsal tonight. Want to come along? They say it's almost a knock-down drag-out fight Lorraine Mitchell and Leigh Iiaclden get into .... And my dear, those clinches-they say Leigh goes right to town. And that llill Taylor is no store dummy when it comes to love scenes with Louise Marshall either. Those men are pretty amorous. Now, I just heard, I don? know. Illl see ya at seven, then. Don't be late. So long!!! ..7Q.. 1. John Terranova. 2. Miss Bonner. 3. Over the jump-Roger Black. 4. -lane Ann Cunningham. 5.
