The Yearbook Staff hopes that the 1940 Fultonian will help preserve the memories of these years spent at our Alma Mater, and that our motto will help set the pace for future Senior Classes to 'Scale to Greater Heights. f F una ' r .pu MIIS MCGDEEVY DEDICATIDN The Senior Class of I940 wishes to honor one who will soon be leaving the halls of Fulton High School behind her. Although she has been with us for only a short time, she has already won the honor and respect of both the students and fac- ulty. She has been a true friend and a capable teacher. Her assistance on the Yearbook Staff and in other school activi- ties have made us feel that lt's the Little Things That Count. We, the Senior Class of 1940, dedicate our Fultonian to Miss Mary lVlcCreevy. N .vs Begg JAN: Xp? I CUNTENTI FACULTY IEN IDD! Moonbeams, you are to me a mystery You go where I can never see. When daylight peeps thru glitter- ing dawn Then, dear moonbeams, why are you gonee? ANGIE PROCOPIO THE AUTUMN LEAVES Between the summer and winter, The wind undresses the trees, The leaves, now changed from green to red, Come dropping down upon my head: They scatter over all the ground, With a wild and rustling sound. They rise in the air like a raging Gre From the sweep of the windy This is Autumn blowing in. ROBERT GOSS SPRING DREAM The woodpecker sat in a crabapple tree Drumming in time to the spring symphonyg The robin was bursting his red throat with songg The merry brook hummed a gay, rush- ing songg A boy on the bank with a fishing rod Tappeg timely rhythm on moss-covered so g The sounds about him wove a dream Of winds, and bird-songs, and a rippling stream.
