if Q af R af af M Clary Hzktory Four years ago, in 1926, we marched into the auditorium of Fulton, feel- ing very grown-upf' But not for long! The upper-classmen teased us and directed us to wrong classrooms until we felt very little again. We were divided into classes: A-I, A-2, AQQ3, A-4, A-5, A-6, A-7, A-S, A-9 A-Io, A-11, A-12. After becoming better acquainted with the members of the faculty we began to feel more at home. We made good marks on our report cards, and many Freshies,' were on the honor roll. Then we were Sophomores! Ah! How thrilling it was for us to be above the first-graders! Donlt think for a moment that we didn't use the oppor- tunity to help the Freshmen! That year we were assigned to only eight classes: B-I, B-2, B-3, B-4, B-5, B-6, B-7, and.B-8. We were beginning to learn how to debate by this time, and the clubs interested us more. A large number of the girls joined the Home Economics Club and the Girl Reserves, and the boys learned to drill. juniors! At last we could be called upper-classmen and be respected as we deserved. VVe had only five classes then: C-I, C-2, C-3, C-4, and C-5. To be a class important enough to elect officers to lead us! To be allowed to wear class rings! To debate in the auditorium! It was unbelievable that we had become such great scholars. Now we were really interested in all school activities -the Dramatic Club, 'Girl Reserves, Home Economics Club, Joseph E. Brown Literary and Debating Society, and Military. The dance which we gave in honorl of the Seniors was a big success, and we looked forward to a dance in our honor next year. At last we are dignified Seniors, almost at the end of our high school careers. Now we shall be honored, looked up to by the lower classes, and perhaps noticed as persons by our faculty. NVe are allowed a little more freedom, and feel really grown since we are to graduate soon. We have only four Senior Classes, D-I, D-2, D-3, D-4, but they make up in quality for the small number of classes. The number of seniors is greater than Fulton has ever known and we are truly proud of the record we have made at dear old Fulton! VVe sincerely hope that the classes which follow us may make as great a success of their work as we have made. s MARY MCEWEN, '3o. Page Thirty-one Tv IW I' I u.
