FOREWORD To prevent the cherished memories of our high school days from fad- ing, we proudly present to you, the 1964 PILOT. We, as seniors, consider this book as the finishing touch to our high school career. As we depart from the halls ofF C.H.S., we find ourselves reluctant to leave and embark upon the road of life. The sometimes feared road of life, that holds something different for each of us. In years to come, this book will bring back the joyous events and try- ing moments both in the classroom and on the playing field. If in the fu- ture, we can maintain the spirit portrayed at F.C.H.S., success and happi- ness shall be the finishing touch to our lives. JOE BARNETT Superintendent Mr. c Left to right: Robert Sanger, William Mitchum, Joe Barnett, Neal Little, Earl Taylor, Tommy Jones. Students of Fulton County High take pride in our P. T. A., which has always lent a helping hand to us in our times of need, giving financial aid as well as moral support that our school might operate more ef- fectively and efficiently. The Vivian Caldwell Scholarship Fund, which annually provides two de- serving seniors with $250 to further their college ed- ucation is perhaps the best example of this support. Lois Kemp and James M. Everett were the recipients of this award last year. LOIS KEMP JAMES M. EVERETT OFFICERS To the Graduating Class of 1964 In a short time, you will leave Fulton County High as Graduates of the Class of 1964. Quarterback Watts hurls the ball to gain yardage against Union City The year of 1963, was the first year for the great sport of football in Fulton County High School. The team put forth the greatest of effort and came to love the sport. Each player gave it all he had and well represented his school. There were only five games on schedule due to the late start of the team. The Pilots lost four of these games and tied the fifth, but this was only on account of the inex- perience of the players. The future teams of Fulton County High will climb to the top and have many winning seasons. Each player stated that he loved the game and hated to see the season come to an end, and by this attitude, Fulton County High can be assured that they will be well represented on the football field at all times. Best wishes and the greatest of luck in the future in this great sport. Your Sports Editor, Jimmie L.
