The first of my classmates of whom 1 think. Is ole Gene Evans who passed on the brink. In home ec. class, there was never a better cookie, Than Sara Atwill, who never played hookie. With good looks, Donald Bobbitt rated very high. Than study grammar in English, he'd rather die. Sonja Childers was a very smart girl, And over a certain boy she stayed in a whirl. Joyce Hall, known best for her red hair, Worked at Claude’s and made all like being there. Royce Holly was very good in speech class, When doing pantomimes, he could really make us laugh. Michael Stayton played in our band. When at attention, how straight he could stand. Merry Gray was a very short little lass, She said she'd let all the other boys pass. Jenny Lou Argo was the queen of our school. Over the certain owner of a Cadillac, Boy! did she drool At writing and drawing Malinda Bizwell was a pro, There's no telling at college how far she'll go. From the Brownsville Community came Riley Taylor. He may marry Janet, may be a sailor. Carolyn Elam was really missed the last half of the year. Everyone called her Hazel but she was really a dear. Helen Dodds was a short, smart gal. And everyone who knew her called her a pal. A smart gal in business was Alice Yates, To lots of success may she open the gates. When mentioning long hair, I think of Willie Hagan. She was a real wise girl, her ways weren’t pagan. Our buddy, Harold Barnes works at the Blue Bird Inn, He said he’d bar-be-qued many a hen. A fast dribbler on the team was Bobby McMullin. For him and the Pilots, Brenda was always pullin'. Joye Lattus was the jokester of the bunch. If she couldn't talk, she'd eat and away she'd munch. Betty Glenn Fowler, a wife she will be. If she likes college life at Murray she'll see. cont. Jim Tipton was the giant of our team. While dribbling the ball he made the girls scream. Bobby Harrison had a cute little laugh, And he sat by Betty in every class. Gale Newsom was a short girl and also cute. Anybody's ideal she would always suit. The artist of the class is our pal, Dale Newsom. If he had his lessons, he would always lose ’em. A tall, shy boy is ole Bobby Cook. He wouldn't talk to the girls, but he’d sure look. Judith Ann Everett was a basketball queen. When she saw Bobby Dale, boy! did she beam. When I think of batons, I think of Judy Kelly. She could twirl and twist like a bowl full of jelly. Donna Wilkerson was a cute, short maid. Faithfullness to Totsy she always paid. Voted quietest in the school was Betty McIntyre. No boy ever set her heart on fire. A good girl all around was Arlene Jones. She was pretty smart but had a few lazy bones. Jimmy Roper was a new comer this year. Over his books at the girls he’d always peer. Tony Slayden was liked by all the girls. He liked everyone, especially if they had curls. A smart, efficient girl was Freda Kent. And toward Junior her heart was bent. Charlene Eddington was our senior most dignified. We hope in her future she'll always be satisfied. Mary Louise Everett, destined to be a housewife. Will marry Chick and have a happy life. Froggie is what they called Franklin Green. He's not dumb, he has a lot in the ole bean. Old George Kemp was kind of the quiet type. He lived on a farm, but didn’t smoke a pipe. Galen Andrews was a good ole boy. He wasn't too smart but he was pretty coy. Lonnie Morgan was voted in school as the quietest. Never-the-less his brain was one of the mightiest. Martha Darnall gained a new name. It's now Nance and will stay the same. Wouldn’t it be funny if Doris Gouger’s name was Poker? Charlene Eddington wills her ability to be elected most dignified senior to Caroline Mooney. Malinda Bizwell wills her ability to eat a lot and never gain weight to Dorthy Meenese. Doris Gouger wills her natural curly hair to Glenda Giles. Jerry Gray wills to Donald Brawner his ability to get along with everyone, but the principal.
