JUNIOR-SENIOR BANQUET The annual Junior-Senior Banquet was held on Saturday, May 5, 1956 at 6:30 p.m. in the Fulton School new gymnasium. Upon arrival the girls were given yellow rose neck corsages and the boys a yellow rose boutoniere. Everyone was also given a cowboy hat The theme of the Banquet was Under Western Skies The gym was decorated as a western scene. In the one corner there was a room made of blue and white crepe paper. In the room was the throne which was decorated with saddles and western scenery. In the center back was a corral with a hobby horse in it. The ceiling was decorated with stars. The dinner was prepared and served by the Junior Mothers. The menu consisted of: fruit cup, steak, lima beans, mashed potatoes, gravy, relish plate, perfection salad, angel cake surprise, coffee and milk. After the dinner, Dick Owens served as toastmaster for the program. Bill Bratton gave the Welcome and Don Frybarger gave the response. The Senior Girls entertained with a musical number. Mr. Yonkers gave a speech. Carole Frybarger presented us with a skit and Barbara Gillen played the accordion for us. Mrs Shave gave the Invocation. The king and queen-Don Frybarger and Barbara Owens-were crowned by Bill Bratton and Carole Frybarger. A dance followed the crowning.
