CLASS HISTORY On September 10, 1945 nineteen first graders shyly entered Fulton Centralized School. Among the nine- teen were Bill Bratton, Quentin Burkey, Mildred Cufr, Linda Elliott, Ann Fauble, Joyce Fetterman, Carole Frybarger, Bill Nicely, Dick Owens, John Patty, and Jane Shaver, who are this year's graduates. Miss Moyer safely guided us through to the second grade. Our second grade teacher was Miss Tietz. In the third grade Carole Frybarger moved to York. Many of us participated in the school operetta Taffy Ann Mrs. Kesler was our third and fourth grade teacher. Mrs. Tate was our teacher in the fifth grade. Marilyn Carter from Swanton and Lenard Honeywell from Crissey joined us in the sixth grade. Mr. O Brien was our teacher. We were getting quite grown up with Mrs. Craig teaching us health, spelling, and penmanship. We finally made it into the seventh grade. Mr. Shaver was our advisor. The class went on a science trip With the eighth grade, came a new member, Barbara Gillen from Swanton. We also welcomed back Carole Frybarger from York. At last we reached high school. The class elected the following officers: President-Jane Shaver, Vice President-Ann Fauble, Secretary-Treasurer-Bill Bratton, Advisor-Mrs. Shaver, who stayed with us for three years. For assembly we put on two great productions, Wilburs' Little Honey Bea and “Its Cold in Them Thar Hills . In our Sophomore year the administration changed. The President was Quentin Burkey, Vice President -Don Hammonds, Treasurer-Wyane Smith, Secretary-Jane Shaver. The class enjoyed many parties that year. The Junior year was a busy one. The Junior-Senior Banquet kept us quite busy. Take Your Medicine was presented as our Junior play. Our President was Bill Bratton, Vice President-Ann Fauble, Treasurer- Mildred Cufr, Secretary-Jane Shaver, Cabinet Members-Dick Owens and Barbara Gillen. In the spring many of us went to New York with the seniors. At last all 13 of us reached our Senior year Our last year. Our Senior class officers were: President- Dick Owens, Vice President-Bill Bratton, Secretary and Treasurer-Ann Fauble, Cabinet Members-John Patty and Mildred Cufr. Our play Are Teachers Human? was given in the spring. The class visited Washington on the class trip early in May.
