{j i ■r ' ! If , J - W r :y . ff ' Light surrounds us all of our life. Even in the darkness, the Pleiades and other stars surround us in their celestial arms. Through the stars and their phases we see our lives in perspective. The cycles through which they travel are the same cycles we go through, day by day, year by year, life by life. Each of these days, years and lives has a beginning, an awakeqing, a struggle, and finally an end. This is our life at Fullerton Union High School. As freshmen we played, as sophomores we began to grow, as juniors we worked hard for that grade point average and as seniors we strove to gain one last bit of knowledge before leaving our briglit spotlight at F.U.H.S. and entering the shadows of the universe. And so, it seems fitting that we have chosen the seal of the Pleiades to exemplify the 1966 Annual PLEIADES, and have arranged the book in a chronological pattern to follow the phases of school life.
