While not having a vote concerning student body is- sues, nevertheless, their comments often swayed the actions of the Ex- ecutive Board. The members proved to be flex- ible in handling many problems: ranging from those of GAA to those of the Weekly Pleiades and all the other represented organiza- tions. A first for this governing body of FUHS were the representatives of the California Association of Student Congress, Don Rhoads and David Ingram. Concentrated . ' helped solve board problems. 27

However, the board had begun work on several projects the previ- ous summer. The card stunts that so many students participated in and the car caravan which dis- played our tremendous school spirit were results of Executive Board invcntix ness and early plan- ning. Still another mission of theirs was the PPP (Pictoral Personnel Project). When it came time to organize over 2,000 students and faculty on the front lawn, each Ex- ecutive Board member was given a job under the leadership of Jim Kay. There were amusing moments in the Executive Board room too. 26
