To the legendary Indian the peace pipe denoted acceptance and friendship. So, too, the Fullerton Indians have followed in their ancestors ' footsteps and have become knovi n as a friendly tribe. This year has been indeed special in this respect. This was a year of challenges. This was a year that called upon the best in all of us. These challenges were met in the best Indian tradition.
