Neis Nordheim rw- Schumacher Kennan Senior Class The senior class of 1938 has during its four years of study, educa- tion, and pleasures achieved much. As freshmen we produced the Villain on the Hearth, which was written by a class member. Bill Goodchild, Kenny Wygal, Ruth Holland and Delia Mae Collins served as frosh executives. As we were passing our second milestone of high school we produced Noah ' s Ark and took an active part in the Pow-wow. The officers for the second year were Ray Stone, pres.; Harold Horn, vice-pres.; Carol Campbell, sec; and Jeanne Jacobsen, treas. With the third milestone growing dim in the distance we realized that we had had the most successful year to date. We were for- tunate m receiving exceptionally fine sweaters in the class colors, blue and white. The prom given the seniors was very skillfully carried out in the colonial theme. Bob Vaughn, Paul Thornton, Virginia Rogers and Bruce Butler served as class officers. In our fouth year we were again favored in receiving extraor- dinarily valuable class emblems, the ring. Of sterling silver and black enamel with the seven pleiades on the crest, it pleased everyone. As our fourth year dramatic offering we produced New Fires. The Senior Ditch-day was held at Camp Seeley where everyone enjoyed himself, though there was no snow. Class Day was spent at the Norconian Club north of Corona. Everyone had a marvelous time. It was an experience that will long be remembered. Class officers were Kendall Neisses, pres.; Billy Nordheim, vice-pres.; June Schumacher, sec; and Lloyd Kennan, treas. 21
