Dedication Mr. and Mrs. Earl Dysinger, Dyke and Bobbie to thousands of Fullerton Junior College students, are retiring from .teaching this year after a combined total of 74 years of service to the FUHS-FJC districts. It is to their warmth and friendliness to which we dedicate this, the 1958 edition of the Torch. They met each other on the FJC campus and since the very beginning of their teaching careers have given life and personality to this campus. Dyke has known this college since its birth in 1913, having served as its first Student Body presi- dent. After completing work at FJC and Stanford University, he returned to FUHS to teach in 1920. Since then he has taught social science, instructed photography classes, been an adviser to the Torch, and assumed countless other curriculor and co-curricular chores. He has served in recent years as coordin- ator of district audio-visual services. Bobbie Dysinger, who holds a BA from the University of California and an MS from the University of Wisconsin, came to FUHS-FJC in 1922. Since then she has taught in both the high school and college physical education departments. She retires as chairman of the women ' s P.E. department. One of her proudest accomplishments has been the initiation and con- tinuing sponsorship of a vigorous Women ' s Athletic Association. Together Mr. and Mrs. Earl Dysinger have left a record of outstanding accom- plishment of which both they and this college can be proud. Perhaps even more important, they have left the imprint of their sincerity and hard works on the hearts of countless Fullerton Junior College students. Mr. Audio works with the tools of his trade Bobbie demonstrates techniques of badminton.
