CDMMISSIDIV With the aid and guidance of Dean of Men Denver Garner, the Associated Student Body was led by able, popular Johnny Renner and his competent corps of officers, Vice-Prexy Claire Lawrence, Secretary Peggy Wilson, Treasurer Rich Martin, Social Chairman Marge Metzger, and AMS and AWS presidents. Chuck Hill and Ronnie Gregor. Although activities were somewhat curtailed because of the war, the com- mission carried out the fall picnic, fall formal, and several other social events. The group participated in Eastern Junior College Conference activities, assisted ably in war drives, and were chiefly responsible for the success of the popular Blue and Gold Week. FALL FORMAL Dancing under sparkling silver stars, approximately two hun- dred students swayed to soft music at the Fall Formal, held in the beautifully decorated Fullerton City Hall. Traditionally THE dance of the fall season, the formal lived up to all expectations this year under the careful unlimited work of Marge Metzger and her social committee. The dance proved to be one of the year ' s most successful events.
