How can I justify my life? This is a question which arises to confront every thoughtful person who pauses to ponder the purpose of his existence. Before I can logically determine the plan and purpose for my life, I must first be sure that I have life. The Bible states in 1 John 5:12: “He that hath the Son hath life.” If I do not have Christ abiding within, I do not have life. Life, real life is in Jesus Christ, and when I re¬ ceive Him I receive life. Now, having received Christ, I must seek to justify His gift of life. When we turn to the Bible for an answer, we read in Acts 13: 22, that David was a man after God’s own heart. Verse 36 declares that he served his generation by the will of God. I, too, have a generation to serve. A generation of people exist¬ ing in anguish of soul and perishing in hopeless despair. They do not know the Prince of Peace and the Author of life everlasting. To justify my life I must meet the challenge and need of this my generation. This responsibility can fall on no one else. Christ is the answer. Christianity, centered in Jesus Christ, isn’t just another way of life, it IS life. In our Burning Lamp this year, we want to present how we at Full Gospel Bible Institute believe we fit into God’s great plan for winning this generation to Christ. - Editorial IT IS FINISHED PROVISION ENOUGH IT IS WRITTEN PROOF ENOUGH.
