Psalm 16:11 “ . . .in thy p resence is fulness of joy .. I do thank the Lord for saving me when I was a child; for His protecting hand upon me, and His leading in my life. I thank Him for the privilege of attending F.G.B.I. It was here I learned of the Grace of God and of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit—Truths which have brought “fullness of joy” to my life. My utmost desire in life is to so live that others may know that I love Christ. Know tnai i rove nrisr. Psalm 89:1 “I will sing of the mercies of the Lord for¬ ever; with my mouth I will make known thy faithfulness to all generations.” Truly the Lord has been merciful to me; He has done so much throughout my life. Although we fail the Lord many times He will never fail us. When I think of all the Lord has done for me, how can I give less than all to Him? I feel God’s hand upon my life and pray that He will enable me to faithfully fill my place in the harvest field. Mark 11:24 “What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them and ye shall have them.” How many times has this been proven true in my life! Truly, “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise.” II Peter 3:9. He gives us more than we deserve or can ask for. What a wonderful Lord we serve! As an Overcomer, I want to serve the Lord the best way I can. In order to be an Overcomer, we must overcome. “Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?” I John 5:5. . T I truly thank the Lord for His Word I have always found that God’s Word is quick and powerful, and it does pierce to the very heart of man. I want to be in the place where the Lord can use me to bring glory to His name. The same Spirit that drove Jesus into the wilderness is the One I want to drive me into His service to do mighty exploits for Him. dvdjMtns I am thankful for the reality of Jesus Christ in my life. I have found David to be true when he said in Psalm 145:3 “his greatness is unsearchable.” I count it as a privilege to be able to study God’s Word for it is “quick, powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword” Hebrews 4:12. His Word is the only thing that will convince and convict sinful men. Because of this, it is my desire to commit my life completely unto Christ. In Psalm 37:5 we read, “Commit thy way unto the Lord, trust also in him, and he shall bring it to pass.” Considering the tragic conditions in the world today, I thank God for the thrilling answer He has provided in the Person of Jesus Christ. As I view the vast harvest field of human souls I realize the enormity of the job set before me. My desire and prayer is that I might unreserv¬ edly yield my body in reckless abandon to this great cause—the cause of Christ. Luke 9:24 “For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.” ' THY WILL BE DONE ' IS THE KEYNOTE TO WHICH EVERY LIFE SHOULD BE TUNED.

The Lord will soon be coming, And Oh! I hear their cries. Chorus ■‘Life, life, oh life,” they cry. While Jesus whispers “Come.” Held captive by the wicked one, Whom we have overcome. R. Jesus teaches this seeming paradox, “Whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.” I have found that only in Christ is a vibrant, joyous life obtainable. My desire is that my life may be lost in Christ, that I may do His perfect will, as he enables. Only then will my life be successful, as God measures success. The fullest, richest, most satisfying life is hidden in Christ. These words sumarize my goal, “Let me bum out for Thee, dear Lord, bum and wear out for. Thee.” I Timothy 4:12 states: “Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” Paul’s exhortation to Timothy has challenged me to also be a true example of a believer. With the enabling power of the Holy Spirit I want to glorify Jesus in every aspect of my life. How can I do less when Jesus my Lord has done so much for me? In Him I have real lasting peace, joy, and strength to meat each day. “Take the whole world but give me Jesus.” “Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us” I John 4:10. I thank God for His love which sent His 1 . Son into the world to die for my sin. Since I accepted Christ as my Saviour I have been very conscious of His hand upon my life. His leading brought me to Bible school where His word has become real to me. I thank Him, too, for baptizing me with the Holy Spirit. My prayer is that I will be found faithful to my Lord who has done so much for me. This winter I have thoroughly enjoyed the studies of God’s Word. One book which has taken on new meaning to me is Ephesians. As we studied this book it blessed my soul to think that the exceeding greatness of God’s resur¬ rection power is to us and for us! I realize as I go forth this spring that I need this power to sustain and help me preach the Word with boldness and with the scriptural witness of signs following (Mark 16:15-20). May God give me “the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the know¬ ledge of Him” Ephesians 1:17. The Lord is good to me. He gave me a Christian home. He saved me, filled me with His Holy Spirit, and gave me a desire to serve Him. He’s done so much for me; I must give my all to Him. “For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” Philippians 1:21. I want to be fortified with a knowledge of God’s Word, saturated with the drive and throb of His Holy Spirit, then motivated into aggressive action for the Lord Jesus Christ. The Saviour that I’ve accepted for my Redeemer and Substitute is not only the God of the past but of the future. He has saved me from the past and is preserving me for future blessings. I must keep looking unto Jesus who is the Author and Finisher of our faith. Who for the joy that was sat before Him endured the cross, despising the shame and was set down at the right hand of the throne of God. I want to look to Him, for in Him dwells the fullness of joy. Psalm 16:11. 7 . FEED YOUR FAITH AND YOUR DOUBTS WILL STARVE TO DEATH.
