God has given to man a treasure more valuable than all the silver and gold in the world. Sad to say it is so common that most people do not realize its infinite worth. This unique treasure is God ' s Word, which is known as the Bible. Modernists today have tried to undermine the absolute reliability of God’s Book. Most homes in our country, although they have access to the Book of Books, do not read It. Worst of all professing Christians have lost their hunger for God’s Word. When we examine God’s Book we find that God has revealed to us all of His great mind that we need to know. In it the way of salvation through personal faith in Jesus Christ is revealed. The Christian who reads It will be established in the faith and will be able ROSS REID to live a happy and fruitful life. God’s plan for the world and his many provisions and prom¬ ises which he wants us to have are made known in the Bible. Joshua 1:8 tells us that if we will meditate in God ' s words and live by its precepts, we will be prosperous and have good success. David desired the Word of God more than fine gold, and Job even esteemed it more necessary than natural food. Here at Bible School we have had the privilege of examining this priceless treasure and searching out its unfathomable depths. It has revolutionized our lives and given us a burning desire to make it known to others who haven’t heard. It is also our desire that you, too, may realize God’s plan for your life through His precious Word. ROSS REID. 14 Full Gospel
