Staff Business Manager J. R. BURNSIDE In 1956, a much needed member was added to the Staff, namely Bro. Burnside, as business manager. Responsibilities and burdens resting on his shoulders are many and varied. Hi ' s great love and interest in young people enables him to fill his position well and he has endeared himself to the hearts of the students. Bro. Burnside is one of the original members of the Bible School Board and has had a vital interest in the School. He also has a vision for the work of missions, proving to be a challenge to many. We do appreciate his ministry in the School, and thank God for his love and interest in the work of the Lord here. Pearl Krogel, our faithful and dependable Registrar and Secretary, continues to do a very important part of the work of the Staff as she takes care of all the minute details connected with the office. As an efficient and capable Staff member, she works quietly and cheerfully, keeping everything in the office running smoothly. Registrar P. KROGEL 10 Full Gospel

F. J. KOSICK The Gifts of the Holy Spirit: To fully experience the Power of the Holy Spirit in the lives and ministry of believers, it is necessary to understand the teaching of the Gifts of the Spirit, as Paul enumerates them as given in 1 Cor. 12. Great i ' s the tragedy when we think of the lack of knowledge among Christians as to the operation of these “spirituals”. It is the plan of God that each of these gifts” should be in full manifestation in every local church. The Church and Missions: The supreme task of the church is the evangelization of the world. In the study of missions according to the New Testament plan, we note that Paul was a church planter. The fruit of His labours was always leaving behind an established church, with elders, deacons, and governments in operation according to the New Testament pattern. The church planted becomes responsible for the evangelization of the “regions beyond”. The “World” is the field ready to be evangelized by the church equipped with “Spiritual Power . I am convinced that Christian writing is a ministry just as important as preaching or missionary work. The importance of Christian journalism is further emphasized when we realize the way in which the enemies of the Gospel of the Grace of God have studied to capture the minds and hearts of young and old through the printed page. Today, the presses of the world are pouring forth a flood of suggestive, seductive and subversive literature. Realizing the need of teaching the basic techniques of Chris¬ tian journalism, the Full Gospel Bible Institute is providing practical, down-to-earth instruction on how to write properly organized material in keeping with the tempo of today’s news¬ papers and magazines. Prospective ministers and Sunday school workers will find this training invaluable. I. W. ELLIS Bible Institute

Bro. and Sis. Weedmark are new members of the Staff this year. They came to us from Neelin, Man., and have taken over the duties and responsibilities of the kitchen. It has been their task to satisfy the various dieti ' tional tastes of 74 students. This has been a new experience for them and they have done a splendid job of meeting the demands placed upon the m. It was indeed a thrill for them to move into and enjoy the facilities of the spacious new dining hall and kitchen, so recently occupied. MAVIS STEIN, R.N. We do appreciate having Flo and Mavis with us again and serv¬ ing in this capacity; also their willingness to add this extra responsibility to their busy schedule. FLO WILSON, R.N. Bible Institute 11
