■■■■■■■■ A. E. SHEPPARD Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, He may give it you.” John 15:16. Every thing produces after its kind, therefore any effort to increase our fruitbearing as Christians will receive the direct seal of God. Such are the blessings we enjoy in Personal Evangelism classes with the first years. Systematically we discover how to lead the sinner to Christ. All have sinned and need a Saviour. Rom. 3:23, Isa. 53:6. The wages of sin is death. Rom. 6:23. The remedy for sin—the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 1 Cor. 15:1-4. The only condition of salvation—Believe. Acts 16:31. Eternal life is given to those that believe. John 5:24. Christ’s power will keep you. Phil. 1:6, Jude 24. The time to decide for Christ is NOW. Prov. 27:1. In the second year class, we have been studying Eschatoiogy, a study of future things such as Heaven and Hell, while with the third year class, we have revelled in the glorious heavenly truths of the Epistle to the Ephesians. Teaching the first year class Jude, and Bibliology, the second year class Theology Proper, the third year class Homiletics. The little book of Jude, with its strong exhortation to earn¬ estly contend for the faith and its warning to apostate teachers who seek to turn people away from the truth of the gospel that will save their souls, i s taught in our first year studies. Bibliology exalt the wonderful Book of Books, the Holy Bjble, an interesting study on the facts concerning the Bible, that inspired Word that is the power of God unto salvation to all that believe. Theology Proper is a study of the facts concerning our God. It begins with the study of the Hebrew names of God and their meaning, then the attributes of God. In this study we see God as the almighty, wise, faithful Creator, our Saviour. Homiletics, the science of preaching, setting forth tried and proven methods of presenting the gospel, that we may be more effective in winning souls for Christ. 8 Full Gospel E. L. McRAE

R. T. WILSON FIRST YEAR Bible Doctrine—Reveals the infallibility of the Word of God; Man, who through the sin of Adam, is eternally lost and in need of SALVATION by REGENERATION through faith in Jesus Christ who alone gives JUSTIFICATION. SECOND YEAR Bible Doctrine Is the work of the cross in: Redemption, Propitiation, Reconciliation and Sanctification. These are not obtained by law works, ' For by Grace are ye saved through faith.” Jew and Gentile alike are saved by Grace in the New Covenant of His blood, and through acceptance of this, we will meet the Lord in the air and be forever with Him. THIRD YEAR Christology—God in love sent Christ to be crucified, that sinful men by faith in Christ can have forgiveness of sins. The resurrected Christ will soon come for all who have accepted Him and He will be the Judge of all who reject God ' s plan of Salvation. SECOND AND THIRD YEARS Acts—Of men empowered by the Holy Spirit to work signs and wonders, proclaiming the good news, ' Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. PEDAGOGY In this course, we study the scriptural basis of the teaching ministry, the methods of Jesus, t he Master-Teacher, and their application to Sunday School teaching of today. The Laws of Teaching and the methods of lesson preparation and presentation are covered as related to Bible Clubs, Bible Camps, Vacation Bible School, Sunday School and other forms of ministry to the children and youth. CHILD STUDY To effectively meet the spiritual needs of children, we must be familiar with the characteristics and needs of each age group. In these studies, we cover the physical, mental, social and spiritual characteristics of each age group from infancy to adulthood. We learn how to use these traits to train them in God’s Word. SUNDAY SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION To operate most effectively and efficiently, a Sunday School must be properly organized. Pupils must be grouped and graded according to their needs and learning ability. Teachers and officers must be trained. In this course, we study the require¬ ments of a successful Sunday School and h ow to put them into practice. W. E. CROWDER Bible Institute 7

F. J. KOSICK The Gifts of the Holy Spirit: To fully experience the Power of the Holy Spirit in the lives and ministry of believers, it is necessary to understand the teaching of the Gifts of the Spirit, as Paul enumerates them as given in 1 Cor. 12. Great i ' s the tragedy when we think of the lack of knowledge among Christians as to the operation of these “spirituals”. It is the plan of God that each of these gifts” should be in full manifestation in every local church. The Church and Missions: The supreme task of the church is the evangelization of the world. In the study of missions according to the New Testament plan, we note that Paul was a church planter. The fruit of His labours was always leaving behind an established church, with elders, deacons, and governments in operation according to the New Testament pattern. The church planted becomes responsible for the evangelization of the “regions beyond”. The “World” is the field ready to be evangelized by the church equipped with “Spiritual Power . I am convinced that Christian writing is a ministry just as important as preaching or missionary work. The importance of Christian journalism is further emphasized when we realize the way in which the enemies of the Gospel of the Grace of God have studied to capture the minds and hearts of young and old through the printed page. Today, the presses of the world are pouring forth a flood of suggestive, seductive and subversive literature. Realizing the need of teaching the basic techniques of Chris¬ tian journalism, the Full Gospel Bible Institute is providing practical, down-to-earth instruction on how to write properly organized material in keeping with the tempo of today’s news¬ papers and magazines. Prospective ministers and Sunday school workers will find this training invaluable. I. W. ELLIS Bible Institute
