The freedom of mind that God gave to each man re- gardless of his creed, color, or social position, can be used as he wills. This freedom can not be taken away from him by any force on earth. It is his to use or abuse. It has created the great men of history. The student is put into a situation where this free- dom is tested to the fullest degree. He can be a suc- cess or failure based on his freedom of the mind. He can choose the values necessary to make a success of life, or he can turn to drugs and alcohol as an escape from reality. Each student has the freedom to tune in or out of life. All other freedoms enjoyed by man are bounded by many extraneous conditions. There are physical, ec- onomic, and social limitations to each. The mind, alone, has freedom to think and reasong to Weigh and judgeg to question and decideg to criticize and rationalize. Each one must decide how he will use or misuse this freedom. What will your choice be ?
