F REVURD What .fought they thus far? Bright jewel: of the mine? The wealth of seas? Within these walls, a thread runs true be- tween these students that develops the resources of the school to the advantage of everyone. The students enter gems in the rough and leave well-polished jewels. As the jeweler cuts gems to perfection so the school and its resources bring the student to a point as near perfect as pos- sible. The emeralds to be found in our library in- crease our knowledge. The pearls that develop culture are art and music. The athletic ruby de- velops soundness of body and sportsmanship. The sapphire of clubs, parties, and dances build our self-confidence. Our school, the diamond, most per- fect jewel creates in each of us a well balanced per- son, with a sense of pride in his school. 2
