E, Class of I957 l May 29, 1975 Honolulu, Hawaii Paris, France Dear Barbara: I just arrived home from our Class Reunion at the Thunderbird Hotel in Las Vegas. ljust had to write and tell you right away about all of our classmates fabulous careers. They -are just out- standing. Carol Sue is a prominent psychiatrist on Jupiter. Carolleen, who has been her patient off and on for ten years now, is finally being released. She is going to Africa where Karolyn will take her on one of her famous safari's. John came down from Jupiter in his rocket ship which he designed himself. He took us all down to the coast, where Admiral Drenik had his atomic powered submarine docked. lt took a little coaxing but he finally took us all for a ride in it. tHe drives just as wild as everi. Bobby is now President of the Ford Motor Co., where Tommy designs the famous rocket ships that Sharon and Rose race. Ronnie, a famous dental technician on Mars, is fascinated by the Martians green teeth. Donita, his head nurse, is just as fascinated by him. Kay also works on Mars treating the wounded from the last space war between Mars and Jupiter. Mary is working faithfully beside her. The biggest surprise of all not only to me but to John B. and Karl, too, was their being elected President and Vice-President of Mars. The first thing they did was to hire Terry, a famous chem- ist, to see if he couldn't invent something to keep the people from turning green. Mainly them. Another member of our class living on Mars is Gloria. I think she will be returning soon, though, because during our conversation she mentioned that her children are beginning to turn green. Of course you've heard of Carl and his famous Boston Terriers. Those dogs have made him the richest unmarried man in the states! Dickie tells me the Grand Opening of his new super market will be next wek. Delores, Bon- nie, and Phyllis are coming over from the Shooting Star to take over at the new place as head cashiers. Jimmie and his orchestra will be entertaining that night. Patsy tells me she is having more fun drawing all the species of people from the different planets. Just last week she drew the cutest little red man from Mercury. You should have seen it. That about takes care of our classmates. l'm glad you and your husband are doing so well designing clothes in Paris. As you know I got my wish of coming to Hawaii and l love it here. We are doing great in our hotel business. The tourists are as spend crazy as ever. I know everyone must be very proud of our classmates, as they have all done so well. The two ties to McCune and Girard and the two losses to Chetopa and St. Mary's at the beginning of the season didn't seem to phase the Big Black as they took Cherokee and Arcadia in their next two games. But the damage had been done, and Frontenac ended up in second place behind Arma, who were the victors in the playoff game on Thanksgiving Day. The Raiders ended the season with the final record of 3 wins, 3 losses, and 2 ties. The Raiders placed three men on the Crawford County All-Star team: John Lusker, back, Alan Drenik, tackle, and Carl Druart, end Three Raiders were also given an honorable mention for the Cee Cee League All-Star team: Tom Elliott, end, Bob Serra, guard, and Ronnie Layden, back John Lusker was also placed on St. Mary's of F'ittsburg's All-Opponent team. Going into the new season, the young Raiders had only a few returning varsity players. With only seven regulars, the Raiders went on to bring a second place tie with Girard and Arcadia, each team to have an 8-4 record. The year's record was l0 wins and 5 losses. They also gained a third in the league tournament and a fourth in the district tourna- ment. ln the total points column, Frontenac outscored their opponents slightly, dumping 8 points more. ln the individual scoring department, John Lusker, senior center, lead the Raiders. ' The B team record for the season was 6 wins and 9 losses. The little Raiders bettered their last year's standings in the won-lost column and in league standings. Gaining a third place in league, the B team started at a snaiI's pace and finished the season in high gear.
