'z-i S Froid opened the season by losing a non-conference game to Antelope, 50-44. The Cards came back by winning the next four in a row. From there on Froid see -sawed back and forth. They ended the season with a record of ten wins and eleven losses. Froid had two games with the Sidney Junior varsity in which they defeated them both times. The tournament was held in Sidney again this year. The Cards were rated fourth and lost their first game to Frazer. In the second game they defeated Lambert which enabled them to play Brock ton on Saturday morning. Brockton was victorious thus eliminating the Froid Cardinals and giving them fifth place in the tournament. From this year on, it is expected that any inter-school activities will be conducted during daytime, and only as part of a physical education program. It means no more long trips, no night games, no tough schedule, no tournament! This year we played several scratch preliminaries and four afternoon games, our only traveling being to Culbertson. We lost to them that afternoon 30-20, but later defeated them 34-23 on our court. We also split with Brockton and Antelope here, losing 40-37 to the former and winning from the latter 35-33.
