J 1 Coach Solga's call for football material brought forth 17 boys. After two weeks of drilling they were ready for the first game. September 18 - The Froid Cardinals opened their gridiron season with the Medicine Lake Honkers, who proved too powerful for the Froid team and defeated them 44 to 14. The scoring for the Cards in- cluded Rued 6 points, LaMar 6 points, and Ryder 2 points. September 25 - The Cards received their second defeat from the Antelope Pronghorns by a score of 14 to 6. Dennis Paulson tallied the Cards' lone score. October 2 - The Cards downed the Bainville Bulldogs by a score of 13-18 in an evenly played game. The scoring was done by Ryder, Wulf, and LaMar who each made 6 points. October 9 - The Cards were beaten by the Culbertson Cowboys by a score of 33-14. October 16 The Cards were defeated by the hard hitting Frazer Bear Cubs by a score of 53-7. October 23 - The Cards played an evenly matched game with the Brockton Warriorsg the score ended in a 12-12 tie.
