There are twenty-three in the Froid Junior Band, consisting of the following: thirteen trumpets three clarinets, two saxophones, one bell, and four drums. The two bands are directed by Superintendent G.N. Anderson. The band also has eighteen little grade twirlers and four high school twirlers that perform with it. The Froid Band also has organized a club of which the following were elected a.s officers: president, Mar- lene Coats, vice president, Leona Luebkeg secretary, Adeline Hekkelg and treasurer, Margaret Ryder. Custodians of the band music are Ethel Johnson and Carreen McNeil: and June Young and Sharon Tasa check uniforms. Janis Emswiler tallies merit points for both bands. The band played at all basketball ga.rnes in Froid. On February 2, the band had their annual winter con- cert in which both bands played. They participated in Band Day in Williston, North Dakota, and in a band festival in Plentywood. The jnmior and senior bands were asked to play for Memorial Day and for other school functions. 'Wu
