The students studying French know that the overpower- ing of France on the battlefield does not mean a decrease in the value of French culture and civilization, so they have made a doubly hard effort this year during their club hours to learn more about France, her people, and her culture. Having learned more about the spirit of the French people, they know that France will rise again. It was the French Club who brought those delicious apples to Froebel again for taffy apple week g and this club, with the aid of the Spanish and Latin clubs, sponsored an evening dance.
