Kathryn Rout and Joy Jackson load the class. Betty Cummins, Barbara Warner, George Hayes, Q Dick Fowler, helen Roll were our new pupils. The first class club was arranged this year. Having completed half of our school life, we nan P moved upstairs and were taught by Miss Kensler and Miss Atkinson. Now members were Bill Hart, Lloyd I - Lock, and Frank Stack. This year was the beginning 4, of a long string of woiner roasts for our class. A In the eighth grade, new members were Bob Cario, vu Beulah Heuhnor, James Chastain, Lowell Cook, and g llarie Riggles. The grade ball club went to the fi- ' nals of the grade tournament before losing by three A, points. v Finally we reached High School, with Lorena Hill and Wilma Cox coming in our class , and Juanita Juno F Mooney rc-entering. We were really grown up, and Q attempted the higher branches of learning. With nr b - Johnnie Baratto as our sponsor, and Biology as our main. trouble , we had a quiet, dull year. - ' As sophomores in 19143, our new classmates were aj Lewis Myers, Harold Smith, and Naomi Wilson. This D year Latin was our chief trouble. Hrs. Dollingor was our sponsor. We had a wonderful party at the A Post Office Club House. Mrs. Dollingers'M athmaties sl Class lectures were very interesting. Frank Stack A joined the navy during summer vacation. ' . Q Jolly Juniors, that was us, and dumb with it. 4, Miss McCoy sponsored our class. Joe Pirtle was the N' only new member this year, and he was called to Q ' servo his country before the year was completed.Wo worked desparately on our reception plans and we feel with Miss LicCey's- never ending help it was well worth while. The girls of our class helped serve the dinner at the Alumni Banquet. The boys ushered at the Senior Play, The girls gained a ma- 371 ,jority during the following summer vacation when if ,A Bob Cario moved to Vincennes and Harry Taylor loft 9' C N school to work.
