Foreword Building . . . from first grade to twelfth grade and graduation . . . Each of us has built mind, body, skill and character. The elementary years of our education are only a building block for further development. In those years we establish life-long friends and basic knowledge of different fields in education. Our iunior high years are the beginning years of building our minds, bodies, skills, and characters. We not only build our minds here, but we learn primary rules by which we will be guided the rest of our lives. Our high school years are the steel girders for the remainder of our lives. Here we begin to plan our futures. We polish our skills for college entrance, for married life, for life. The purpose of the 1972-73 Coonskin is to be an accurate record of this school year. We hope that each can look many times at this book and remember this great year. These two words say more about Coach Hayes as an assistant football coach, head girls' basketball coach, track coach, and teacher than any others. He has shown to be much more than iust a coach and teacher. With his helpful advice and ready smile, he has become an accepted friend to all students. Frisco's athletic teams are built on his words of encouragement, his hard work, and his dedication to them.
