It seemed as if the school years would never end, but now we are counting the days to Gradu- ation. Some of us started Kindergarten at F.C.S. in the basement of the Public Library, but others took their time and joined us later. It was such a pain to get bundled up in snowsuits everytime we had to go to the school, whether it was for lunch or specials. We could hardly wait to get in with the big kids.” At the end of our Kindergarten year, we first discovered that our class was dra- matically inclined. For Kindergarten Gradu- ation we put on Goldie Locks and the Three Bears. It was a production that will be remembered for years to come. Then came first grade, no more naps— only Metropolitan Tests. Once we got into fourth grade, the only accomplishments we made were trying to stay out of trouble and especially out of Mr. Tenney's closet. (Does anyone remember??) In sixth grade we went to the Shrine Cir- cus. There is a saying that goes Elephants never forget, well, we'll never forget one particular elephant. Oh those poor clowns!! That same year we again exercised the amazing amount of dramatic talent found in our class, by presenting the play A Char- lie Brown Christmas. Everyone did their part, whether it was being a stage hand, memorizing a major part, or attempting to knock each other down wh ile ice skating on stage. It sure was hard work, but we had a lot of fun too! Junior high was a big change for us. In- stead of single file lines in the halls, it was mass hysteria. We had the hardest time finding our way around. When we first started high school, we didn't know which was worse; being stuffed in a locker or being sent to Mr. Mazur's of- fice. Most would rather be stuffed in a lock- er—all day!!! We have all had our share of being sent to his room, some more than others, and we all agree that it is not a pret- ty sight. Classes in high school always had some excitement in them. Like the time when we had to eat all of our custard in Home Ec. none of us ever expected to be master chefs, but we didn't expect to cook some- thing that bad!! We ll never forget trying to sneak that horrible tasting custard to the bathroom to be dumped where it be- longed—in the toilet! Science class will never be the same when our class leaves. I'm sure Mr. Solo- mon will be glad to see us go. We will miss all of his lectures and labs, and especially hearingall about his Regents questions. We hope you can go on without us Mr. Solo- mon. Another great time was the fact that we could go to the Prom. It was a lot of fun dancing around with our friends. It was sur- prising to see everyone dressed up in tux- edos and gowns. We all looked so nice! Mr. Amore was a very faithful advisor. He stayed with us at the County Fair for two years, all of our activities, and especially with all of the comedians in our Junior Play. Thanks for putting up with us. The true test is the Senior trip. Our Jr.-Sr. Prom was a blast!!! We had so much fun putting up and tearing down. It was so terrible when we came in an hour before and saw a wall of crepe paper lying on the floor. We were so afraid we wouldn't get it back up in time. The worst of it was that we had to make a profit to pay for our water fountain which squirted water an inch into the air and leaked too. But the Juniors are buying it anyway. We have made the best of our years here at F.C.S. and will make the best of this one. Kindergarten Graduation was our first step into thirteen years of education, but our Se- nior Graduation will be the big step into the REAL world for the rest of our lives. Senior Class History 15 PANORAMA DEDICATION The senior class of Eighty-Seven proudly dedicates the 1987 Panorama to Mr. Dennis Amore. We greatly appreciate everything that you have done for us.
