1980 PANORAMA IiTSTERDAYS DREAMS, TOMORROW’S MEMORIES” 1980 dedication This year's dedication is to an individual who has taken a part in molding our future. By taking on the job of a senior advisor, he assumed a position which requires a great amount of dedication and responsibility. This job is a thankless one, especially dealing with trials (setting up a point system) and tribulations (gray hairs). Not only being an advisor, he is a physical education teacher and an extra curricular-activities coach. So with respect and gratitude, the Senior Class of 1980 proudly dedicates this yearbook to Mr. Dennis Amore. 2 .YDM Row 1 A. Baxter, P. Schoonover, V. Hunt, S. Riehle. C. Sears, D. SheMon, G. Winston Churchill BRUCE WARD When wealth is lost, nothing is lost; when health is lost, something is lost; when character is lost, all is lost. German Proverb VICKI HALE Whoever gives a small coin to a poor man has six blessings bestowed upon him, but he who speaks a kind word to him obtains eleven blessings. 6 The Talmud SHARON RIEHLE Obstacles are what you see when you take your eyes off the goal. Unknown CINDY BEDOW DAVISON We should give as we would receive, cheerfully, quickly, and without hesitation, for there is no grace in a benefit that sticks to the fingers. Seneca THOMAS TREUSDELL The cultivation of the mind is a kind of food supplied for the soul of man. Cicero LARRY STUCK If you think education is expensive, try ignorance. Unknown PAUL ARMBRUSTER Life is action and passion. It is ex- pected of a man that he share in the action and passion of his time un- der penalty of being judged not to have lived. Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr. KAREN MAY It's always easy to tell your station in life. Sooner or later, someone tells you where to get off. Herb Daniels DAVID PARKER ••PORKY If hard work is the key to success, most people would rather pick the lock. Claude McDonald KARLA MARCISZEWSKI If we open a quarrel between the past and the present, we shall find that we have lost the future. Winston Churchill GAYLE KINDER SPIDER When I don't have anything to worry about, I begin to worry about that. Walter Kelly 4 MICHAEL GRAHAM Faith is knowing there is an ocean because you have seen a brook. William Arthur Ward HENRY MAPES HAM To see a day go by is not sad but a blessing for we are not made of the present but of the past. Confucius CINDY SEARS I would rather be defeated in a cause that will ultimately triumph than triumph in a cause that will ul- timately be defeated.
