Criticisms hove been plentiful and perhaps justified. All year long the group has been concerned with the poor attitudes displayed by many of the students in their conduct, obligations and responsibilities. Answers or solutions have not been readily found or developed. Progress has been extremely slow. Our thanks go to Mr. Mancuso, our advisor, and to Mr. Witter who often attended meetings to give us ad- vice and the benefits of his experience. The Student Council cannot accomplish much without the support of the student body. Therefore, any criticism of the Council is actually self-criticism. Few realize the time and energy expended to publish the PAN- ORAMA except those who worked to moke it a reality. Endless hours were spent preparing copy, scheduling and taking pictures, and iden- tifying students in the group shots. Added hours were spent getting ads and selling subscriptions. Financing the yearbook is a headache and without the support of our patrons and subscribers it could not have materialized. Although it was hard work ond sometimes we were discouraged, we enjoyed working together. We'll never forget the after school and after supper meetings, or the Saturdoy afternoon work sessions. To us the 1956 PANORAMA is the result of hard but pleasant work. The PANORAMA is the result of the efforts of the entire Staff. To them go my thanks for a job well done. Special thanks go to Bob Burdick who struggled with us as he learned the technique of putting together a yearbook. In closing I would like to express my thanks to our Advisor, Mr. Del Mancuso, for the time he spent helping us. The Editor William Swarthout. To o casual observer a new school building is mostly a matter of excavations, footers, walls, struct- ural steel, bricks, etc. For the Board it has meant many headaches. Financing a million dollar program requires sound thinking and planning. Purchasing a variety of equipment from a multitude of bidders de- mands patience and understanding of materials as well as values. Making changes in the original plans when construction problems arise can be a perplex- ing problem The Board of Education deserves our thanks and gratitude. Their's is a thankless and big job. Proudly Mr. f ol being pin-pointed by Dr. Wobitor. Board of Education Mr. Robert E. Witter, Supervising Principal The job of supervising principal is engrossing enough under normal conditions but during a building construction program it becomes an endless task. Change orders, letting bids, purchasing equipment and a multitude of details make excessive demands on the time of a man whose burden is already very heavy. We are sure that the use of the new building in the near future will serve to compen- sate for all his efforts. Mrs. Marian M. Lucas, Secretary Our heartiest wishes go to Marian who became the bride of Mr. Roy Lucas during the Easter Recess. To both we wish much happiness in their life together. 49 Mr. Jomos Millon, Vocal Music; Mr . Lillian Norton, School Nurse; Mr. Keith Miller, Instrumental Music; Mrs. Joanne Roland, Home Economics.
