It is by participating in the various organizations of the school that life long friendships are established. In many of these activities, the student must apply what he has learned in the classroom. But, not all activities fit into this category. Many exist purely for relaxation. Starting off with our rush parties and addition of 'l5 new pledges. With this boost of momentum, we kept surging ever forward. K.O.N. has more members in Stuco and the classes than any other society. Again the K.O.N.'s had a Valentines Sweet- heart Banquet and elected a K.O.N. Sweet- heart. Also the Kon's participated in the Cher- ry Carnival which was a big success. The K.O.N. Alumni Banquet was an event of the K.O.N. year which also helped the school as a whole. As a K.O.N. first, we provided all Rushees with an orientation handbook for rushweek about the Kappa Omega Nu society. K.O.N.'s also had a Christmas project to help a needy family with many needed items.
