Edmund Stanley Gymnasium Work began on the Edmund Stanley Gymnasium in 1918, but the building was not completed until 1932, although part of it was used for several years before it was actually finished. The building is named in honor of Friends University's first president. Agri-Arts Building Two knocked-down barracks build- ings, given to Friends University by the Federal Works Agency in 1947, were re- built into one building which is the head- quarters of the Industrial Arts and Agri- culture departments at F.U. A heating unit and power tools for the building were ,M also part of the F. W. A. grant. - ,v 9

Music Hall The building now used as the Music Hall was originally a ladies dormitory for Garfield University, and later, for Friends. Shortly af- ter World War II, it was converted to a mens' residence hall, and in 1947 became the Music Hall. It contains music studios, practice rooms, and a listening room for the Carnegie Record Library. Mark Reeve Cabin In the shade of three Austrian pines, stands a log cabin the gift of the class of 1940, built with the help of Mark Reeve. The logs are from a log cabin originally in Sumner County, and were given to Mark Reeve by the owner. Some of these logs were used in the construction of the small cabin in the Fellow-Reeve Museum.
