Z ,afpgyf ,A 1- 13.7, gf wi W W EDGAR R. CARVER Instructor in Band Instruments Eddie, or English, as he is frequently called, arrived in town just after school began last fall. Before this a little mention had been made in regard to a band and the timely ar- rival of our old friend brought this to a focus, to the extent that a regular F. U. band was immediately launched out upon a career of fame and renown. As a band directorl Mr. Carver is a remarkable success and has an enviable reputation all over the state. He is at present holding the position of director of the YVicl1ita Musicians' Union Band. In spite of the fact that he is an Englishman, he has an un- usually keen sense of humor and a remarkable Wit. Among the X students, our little folks, Eddie and his wife are a very famil- iar and popular couple.
