The Service Committee, an organization associated with the American Friends' Service Committee, has charge of the spiritual. side of F.S.S. activities. During the year the Service Committee sponsors many charitable and social events. In the fall there is the annual United Fund drive in which Service Committee members collect money from the classes and turn it over to that charity. At Christmas time the Mitteii Tree is trimmed with warm gloves and other woolens which are shipped overseas. ln the spring the Square Dance is held to which students from seventh through twelfth grades may come. Members of the Service Committee have also helped to pack clothing at the AFSC VVarehouse. A recent outgrowth of the Service Committee has been the School Affiliation Committee, under whose auspices members have corresponded with students in Arn- hem, Holland. A new aiiiliated school is now being chosen. We are grateful to the Service Committee and to its sponsors, Teacher Anne, Teacher Helen, and Mastei' Ed, for showing us a practical application of the Quaker way of living. Seventy-six
