THE MEETING HOUSE As an essential part of the religious training and experience promoted by our school, all students are asked to participate in the weekly Fourth-Day Meetings for worship at the Race Street Meeting House. We will always remember these Meetings, held on the basis of silence according to the manner of the Society of Friends, where we spent so many hours trying to find a sure, narrow, road amidst the maze of highways in our modern times. The historical Meeting-House, standing peacefully under the shadow of William Penn, may indeed be regarded as a symbol of the Quaker faith. Let us hope that the brilliant rays of sunlight, so often reflected in its panes, may long be shining in our hearts and minds. ,If
