A notable increase in attendance helped to stimulate great enthusiasm within the squad. The campaign was highlighted by exciting games with Bryn Athyn, Germantown Friends, and Moorestown. The last game was a night contest in which Select nearly executed a major upset. Under the excellent supervision of Master Fred Nolde's abilities were developed to their utmost. This assured a constant supply of points as well as an indication that in future years, Select may be represented by a basketball powerhouse.
