FOREWORD During our formal education at Friends' Select School, we have experienced some of our richest and most meaningful moments. Not only has Select been a source of knowledge, but it has been a medium through which we have become better persons and more secure individuals. We have learned to work and to share with students and teachers from diverse walks of life. We have been respected and recognized as individualsg our interests have not been curbed. The spiritual awakening of a Quaker meeting, along with the warmth and friendliness that everyone exhibits, created an inner happiness and a peace of mind that we shall ever strive to retain.

DEDICATIO 1 It is to Master Hans Hauser, in appreciation for his hours spent, his efforts often unrewarded, and his devotion to the students, that we dedicate the Record Book. The Senior class wishes to extend this word of affection because we hope, by doing so, to show our humble gratitude for his patience as an educator and genuine interest as a friend. We shall never forget Master Hans, and in the years to come, his memory will enhance our recollections of Select and the warm friendliness that has become tradition.
