The class of '77 held their prom in the lavish and elegant ballroom of the Sheraton Park Hotel. A fantastic band that played the latest rock and disco music kept even those people who don't dance hopping all night. This years prom was different in that each couple dined at a posh res- taurant of their choice rather than hav- ing hotel buffet service. Excited Seniors were undaunted by exorbitant costs, reservations or driv- ing and parking hassles because it vvas their night to forget, relax and enjoy. 256 X SUPPLEMENT

g gait W am aww! gem That long-awaited day finally ar- rived for over five hundred Seniors on june 10, 1977. With the threat of rain in the early morning, everyone feared that Friendly's string of sunny gradua- tion days had come to an end. How- ever, the day turned out to be beauti- ful. After two days of practice and some long pep talks by Mr. Vann the day had finally arrived. Mr. jim Vance of WRC-News 4-Washington, was the guest speaker. Tassels were moved to the right, caps were tossed into the air, parents were located, pictures taken, and gowns returned.
