Class Prophecy The class of 1979 will be found all around the country doing different sorts of things. Most will be making their living on San Juan Island. Jeff McRoberts will own a franchise of Mother's Record Shacks, with one in Friday Harbor. Dave McGuire will become a resident pro of the Record Run. Marty Toad Hanson becomes a professional crabber. Kelly Breeden and Candy Browne are to own and operate the hrst Weight Loss Clinic, which will be very successful. Gene Brown will be in the groove with Gene, Gene, the Dancing Machine's Discoteque , with Lisa Ellis and Mike Hards as regular features. Ted Wood takes over Mia's Florists and sells ??? plants. Lisa Evans is the fashion designer at Bottoms Up, introducing the paint-on pant. Kathy Wilson will take good care of the kids when she replaces Mrs. Peakes as Home Ec. teacher. Bill Ward will own and operate Ward's Wash St Wax at Friday Harbor International Airport. Mike 'lEvil Erickson will be first to jump Cattle Pt. Canyon in his jeep. Marilyn Corrie will direct Marilyn's Comfy Cruise on Washington State Ferries. Mike Greenway becomes head custodian at his Ghetto Empire. Ken Speers will keep the Kiddie Corner operating, he'll be head diaper-changer. Kelly Ferguson and Sue Nash will be working at the Convalescence Center until they're a ripe old age themselves. Leah Sedlickas will be decorating suites at the San Juan Hotel. There will be a few great inventors in this class. Gary Smithrud will ind a cure for some unknown dreaded disease, and Gloria Alford will invent a high-heeled shoe you can Fish in. Nancy Wampler will Gnd Pegasus and fly off to other lands with him. You may see some '79ers in Hollywood. Roger St. Yves will star in the remake of Leave it to Beaver. Dennis Louthan will become famous for his Master Charge commercials saying I Carry Lout! Another senior to make it big on T.V. will be Cherie Erickson, known throughout the country for her deodorant commercials saying, I'm Sure! Jeanne Wilkinson hits it big in the movies with her smash Benji Bites Again. And Happy Days will always be successful when Herbie Mason takes the role as Ralph Mouth. The rest of the class will also be doing wonderful things around the globe. Julie Capron goes back to Japan and becomes the vice-president of Suzuki Inc, in Tokyo. Deania Murray will be the captain of the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders. Tina Johnson will Hy the world's first Flying saucer, and Pegge James will be elected to the Hall of Fame for winning the Ind. 500. Paul Bunyan Miner enters the Marines and becomes a specialist woodchuck. Karl Thomas will join John Krieg at Bellingham Vo-Tech, then return to the island and open up his own body shop. Ginny Burke will be a permanent resident of Saturday Night Live's Freak Mountain. 'H
